The competitiveness of a nation is highly dependent on the capital of science and technology generated from research and development activities. To produce high-quality Research and Development and encourage the productivity of researchers and research institutions, a conducive Research and Development ecosystem is required. The Indonesian Academy of Sciences (AIPI) initiated the establishment of the Indonesian Science Fund (DIPI) in 2016 which works independently and professionally to manage competitive, flexible, and sustainable research schemes. The schemes managed mainly focus on fundamental research that can add value to Indonesia’s natural resources. Other independent funding institutions are expected to grow to complement the national Science and Technology infrastructure. Virtual classical music concerts are ideas and initiatives of Indonesian researchers and musicians, including those who live abroad who care and want to contribute to jointly assist Indonesian researchers. The main purpose of the concert is to raise funds which will be managed as a Research and Technology Endowment Fund. The theme of this concert is ”From the Researchers and Musicians for National Research”.
